Margaret

Meet

Hi, I’m Margaret. I spent years checking every box of "success" — nearly 30 years working toward the big job, big paycheck, and, ultimately, bigger burnout. It looked good on paper, but it never felt right. Eventually, I gave myself permission to walk away from a career that was slowly draining my spark. I ran off to Ireland (as one does) to figure out what was next.

That’s where this story begins. For the Good Times Travel was born out of a desire to create and share experiences that give people space to breathe again. To remember what brings them joy. And to do it all with warmth, soul, and a little cheeky fun.

Today, I work with thoughtful travelers – busy professionals, curious spirits, fun aunts, romantic wanderers, and multi-generation families. I bring my creativity, heart, and project management chops to the table so you don’t have to manage the stressful parts of travel. I want your trip to be more than smooth and beautiful; I want it to feel like a reflection of you.

My vision is to create the kind of experience that sticks with you long after you return home. One that makes you say, “Remember when…?”

Full-time luxury travel designer, professional wanderer, and enthusiastic storyteller.

My Philosophy

You deserve a partner who listens deeply, designs thoughtfully, and delivers memorably.

Time and trust are sacred.

Luxury is in the details: time, comfort, personalization, and little surprises that spark joy.

Luxury is not a price tag.

Travel is more than a checklist—it's your chance to reconnect with yourself and the world.

Travel is personal.

Stories I Love Retelling

“When I travel, I come alive. I get brave. I talk to strangers. I dig through riverbanks looking for buried history. It’s where I’m the most me."

I Love Retelling

"Some places are layered with stories—history, myth, and even a little fantasy. I love when a single view feels like a whole book."

"Some people collect souvenirs. I collect the feel of old walls. I touch them, lean on them—respectfully, of course, and always without setting off alarms.”

"One of the best ways to know a place is to taste it! From haggis to haute cuisine – my recommendation - try it all!”

“The best compliment I can get is: ‘you made this feel easy and special at the same time.’ That’s the story I want every journey to tell.”
